Adventurenet has its own Internet Relay Chat (IRC) Channel.

     We are proud to host this channel on SysopNet (a great IRC
     server for sysops and users).  I am there almost nightly
     and if you wish to chat with me to disucss problems or 
     just to chat you are more than welcome to!.

        My personal suggestion is bbs.ipass.net it seems the most
        reliable these days and what I use.  :)

     * Times I'm online:
       I am online nights mostly starting around 7pm up to 3am EST
       time (USA).  Any time in that range is when I pop in, lurk
       or just sit :).  Send me a /Msg message if I'm in the
       channel but don't reply.  Be patient as most enter and
       don't see me say anything and leave.  Well I am busy in
       other channels or doing other things I'm only sitting in
       the channels waiting for conversation.  So /msg me or
       try to get my attention.

     * IRC channels
       The channel is #adventurenet.  You should see AdvnetBot there
       if not your in the wrong place :).  You should see me there
       as well (Longshot).  

       If for some reason I'm there and don't see you I'm likely off
       doing something or in another chat in another channel.  So
       if you want /MSG me.  But i lurk in these other channels:

       #BBS         - Sometimes here just a general chat channel
       #coders      - Programming channel.

       NOTE: !!!  Due to recent changes and decline in SysopNet many
         of the above servers are likley dead or gone.  There has
         been a resurge by Scanner (the IRC owner) to get new
         servers online (5/01) but I don't have time to review
         which of the above servers are up or down.  Check
         the web page and if you still want to meet me contact
         me first and I'll arrange a time and server.  If
